From Storytelling To Seamless Experiences

Before stepping into product design, I built a foundation in narrative structure and communication through my academic background. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Literature in English and a Master's degree in Classical Literature, where I studied storytelling, audience engagement, and human behavior. That perspective led naturally into product design, a field where stories aren't just told, but experienced. I earned a Google UX Design Professional Certificate and completed a Product Design course at Future Academy Africa to formalize the transition, building skills in user research, interaction design, and accessibility.

Embracing the Design & Builder's Mindset

Design, to me, isn't just aesthetics, it's understanding people and building the thing that solves their problem. User research, accessibility, and iterative testing shape every decision; rapid prototyping keeps that process moving instead of stalling in review cycles. What makes the approach different is that it doesn't stop at the handoff: hands-on development in Shopify Liquid, Framer, and, more recently, AI-assisted code generation means concept and shipped product come from the same place. Whether it's a mobile app, a Framer-built web platform, or a Shopify store, the same person carries it from research through deployment.

Why Product Design & Development?

Over the past 3+ years, I've designed and developed across e-commerce, fintech, foodtech, SDaaS, and edtech, for startups and established brands alike, taking ideas from concept to execution. The common thread across all of it: design systems, rapid prototyping, and front-end development, brought together so a product is both usable and something a business can actually ship.
