ClaraHavens: Responsive Shopify E-commerce Case Study

ClaraHavens is a lifestyle e-commerce brand built around clarity, calmness, and emotional connection. The goal was not just to launch a store, but to create a brand-first Shopify experience that felt premium, trustworthy, and human while driving conversions.
I took the project end-to-end, from concept and design to full Shopify development, testing, and live launch using Visual Studio Code.

As a new brand, ClaraHavens had no digital presence. The challenge was to:
Communicate brand identity through UX and visuals
Create trust and emotional connection for first-time buyers
Build a professional Shopify store from scratch
Deliver a scalable, maintainable system for future growth
Understanding Buyer Preferences
The design process began with an analysis of e-commerce shopping habits on shopify to understand the target customer. I focused on identifying key factors that influence purchase decisions and common pain points in the checkout flow. This research allowed me to craft a user interface that removes friction and drives higher conversion rates.
Optimizing the Product Discovery Flow
I developed a personalized shopping experience that allows customers to filter products by their specific needs and preferences, also enabling search. This feature streamlines the decision-making process, allowing users to compare options and adjust their selections effortlessly. By reducing friction during product selection.
Ensuring Seamless Navigation & Conversion
A major focus was on ensuring a frictionless path to purchase. I designed highly intuitive navigation paths and incorporated advanced search filters, making it easy for customers to find relevant products and proceed to checkout without any hassle. This streamlined process is proven to reduce cart abandonment and increase conversion rates.
Optimizing the 'Add to Cart' Experience
I engineered a high-impact Add to Cart (ATC) flow to minimize drop-offs at the most critical stage. By implementing clear call-to-actions, sticky "Buy" buttons, and a streamlined cart drawer, I removed the common friction points that lead to abandonment. This ensures that once a buyer shows interest, the transition to payment is instant and effortless.
